Sherri's Heart
Sherri Tant Barham
Sherri Tant Barham is a North Carolina native. She and her husband of 29 years, Billy, live in Zebulon, NC. She takes great joy in her work. She has ministered to many women over the years through her career then ministry of decorating and organizing. She has a love for ministering to women in their homes whether it is through decorating, organizing, or teaching healthy eating habits. She is a committed follower of Jesus Christ and is always excited to share the transformation that He has done in her life and is continuing to do.
Although Sherri was raised "going to church", had been baptized and became a church member, she did not have a personal relationship with Christ until reaching rock bottom in her early 2o’s and realizing that she needed a savior. Her difficult journey through religious formality, rebellion, and rock bottom is the fuel that God has used to ignite her passion to intercede for and pass the TRUTH of GOD’s WORD to the NEXT GENERATION by sharing with everyone “If WE are SILENT the NEXT GENERATION will be DEAF!”
Since discovering that rock bottom is a holy place, she has learned to walk with God. By knowing the truth and being set free from the bondage of idolatry and addictions, it has empowered her to engage in carrying out the mission of sharing the good news of the gospel and making disciples in all nations through being involved in several ministries during her journey. Her heart for incarcerated, homeless, broken women with children, being held captive by their past, circumstances, sin, etc. rises to the top when she shares answered prayers and testimony of victories and transformation.
Her foundation and love for the Word of God and prayer came from seeing it modeled through several godly mentors that God placed in her life over the years. She learned the discipline of studying the Word through structured women’s bible studies, such as Bible Study Fellowship and Heart to Heart where she served in leadership. She is passionate about prayer and fasting because of her life changing experience of being set free from the stronghold and generational sin of idolatry and being healed from an incurable disease that the enemy used to taunt her for 20 years. She loves to share her testimony, truth of the word, and practical tools, that bring Christ hope, healing, and transformation to captives that need freedom. She believes that we need to fortify our families foundations through developing holy, healthy, and helpful habits in 7 areas of our lives: Faithfulness, Finances, Fitness, Food, Family, Friendship, and Follow-Through, with the foundation of them all being the TRANSFORMING TRUTH of God’s word.
